As it is described on the website: With "High quality reflective optics". Some kind of mirror system. Like a periscope on a submarine
How good it is? Hard to say... Depends on the mirrors...
But it is not too expensive. Maybe someone give it a try!

Seems the only "problem" was to find the right setp-up/step-down ring for the filter. So that is not really a problem.

That is what I read in one guys review too.
As you have to attach this lens to the original lens you have a big gun... That always gets attention!
So this is nothing for close up. Also as you can see that something is "wrong" with this lens, as it has an opening on the side...
Maybe somebody will not get it.
I also read that it works fine with the zoom. So maybe it is for medium distance.
As it seems that you can get that lens for $ 29, it is worth the try.
I would do, but didn't find a shop that sells that in Europe.

I have that lens and used it with my old Digital8 handycam for two 2007 videos:
Lone Brunette MILF Sunning In A Rainbow Bikini
Park Sunglasses Teen - quick uppie - right angle spy lens.
You can see the edges of the lens in the 1st and last screen capture of the MILF video.

I guess I've grown more balls since then as now I just shoot direct...no need to be covert.
But I can see how this lens might useful for those developing a bagcam setup.
