Where have all the hot girls gone?

Has anyone else noticed the SEVERE decline in the number of hot girls being posted on this board? I remember back a few years ago almost all the posts contained at least one picture I would download to my hard drive. Now there might be one or two for every 25 new threads. (Note: this rule does NOT apply when Astral is on a roll). But seriously, what is up with all the nasty dumpy-ass chicks being posted nowadays? (This chick is a good example but chicks like this are far more common on this board than actual HOT chicks.) Now, I know someone is going to chime in with "taste is subjective" or "hot is relative" or some such blah blah blah. But what I'm talking about is a pattern here: there used to be TONS of jaw droppers being posted on TCB. Now they're a rarity - I might save 10 pictures over the course of a week whereas before I would save 100. What is up?? What happened to the HOT chicks? It seemed to coincide with the credit/Elite system but I could be just imagining that. Any theories? Anyone feel the same way?

First let me say that I think I know what you are talking about.
You are a member which also have the courage to say a poster that his post was not good, or that the pictures lack quality.
I appreciate your honesty.

I'am not a long time member here, but I agree that we have a lot of average stuff here in the past weeks.

So what is the reason?

I see more then one:

First I like to name the long winter time. All I saw here for month were girls in thick jackets. I can't see it anymore... Nothing I would like to capture or want to see posted here. So I would say that drops the number of good posts.
Second, I would say some veterans are busy in the past, or lack the time to go hunting. So I hope it changes this summer...
Third, it seems that we have some new shooters here. New members, but also long time members, that suddenly starts to shot. That is always strange for me, but that is another theme.
A lot of those pictures lack the quality. Some go hunting with their cell phones. Okay... That can not work. Maybe as a last-solution when you have nothing other with you and an Über-Hottie is walking next to you.
Bad equipment, lack of experience...
Mark, you know I call myself a rookie when it comes to active shooter talking. I need more experience. I do not know what you think about my posts I made yet, but I think the girls were nice and worth to be posted here.
I had the opportunity to make more pictures in the past weeks, but these would not meet my standards that they would be worth to be posted here on TCB.
I want to show quality. Everyone like another girl. Large, tall, small, petite... Like you said: Bla, bla... But I agree that a lot is very average here.
Some posts seems to say "Look I done a candid shot".
But they do not say "Look I done a good candid shot".

So I hope for the summer... More hot girls around then with less clothes.
Meanwhile I'am happy to see some posts from the usual suspects, who always show quality here!

Well I dont weigh in on allot of these conversations but the same thing went through my head just awhile back.. It was not one of those, usual winter time dead time thoughts but more about the huge amount of blurry shots of nothing but nothing.. I for one have no use for the DPs of just gals sitting and a hint of their panties.. but these are the first to get comments at times.. and the huge amount of worthless cell phone shots just for the sake of posting... Yes I suppose the credit system started some or most of this. But at the same time I believe the credit system also brought afew to the tables to start shooting and not ALL bad shots. I for one have been here awhile. I used to shoot but issues cause me to stop. I never was much of a shooter, as lack of equipment and lack of places to shoot here in the dreadful midwest. I also do find many shots appealing to me that otherwise go unnoticed by others... many times the post will be idle for a day or two with several views adn I am the only one to comment. I know this goes back to the ole. 'to each their own' addage.. I myself find the more interesting shots here are the ones of innocent looks (not age by no means) but in a somewhat revealing moment. Either position or clothes they are wearing. I am not one to enjoy the show girls, modeling sessions or such thing. These can be found most anywhere... Okay, yes on occasion I find one that really trips the trigger.. :-) But I have seen some people start here with crappy, blurry shots only to improve both subjects and quality as well. All that said, This board is unique in many ways as it allows all kinds of candid, voyeur and whatever shots... I know we have lost some AWESOME photographers in the past because of the quality of shots from others but I still find this to be a great board and enjoy watching it grow, change and move forward over the years.

That was what I was talking about too. I try to comment every post here. But sometimes I just don't know what to say...
So I'am also not very happy when some of these real bad posts get a "Thanks" from some members, who nearly spent a "Thanks" to everyone who post. Regardless how bad the post is.

I don't want to be unfriendly, but maybe some of us should tell those people that their post was not worth for a TCB posting...
I mean, it can be said politely and friendly. Must no be rough. But if it has to be said...

With all the cheap spy pens out there and the other tools (keychains, lighter cams) I'am also afraid that we will get flooded with a lot of bad videos real soon.

Okay, so will we tell the people honestly and politly that their posts are not meeting the standards of TCB in the future?

You're right about it being slower in the winter and I think I probably bitch about this every winter but it's the pattern I'm talking about. I save the files I download from TCB in folders based on what year it is ... TCB2005, TCB2006, etc. The first year I joined I literally saved like 5000 pictures. Last year I saved like 500. I enjoy your participation, btw. Even though I think you sometimes give praise where praise is not deserved. Just out of curiosity, where are you from? Because it appears that english is not your native language....

Dude, you would FLIP the FUCK out over this girl I have a date with tonight. Slim, gorgeous redhead with this SHELF ass that could crack walnuts. As a gesture of gratitude for all your awesome posts, I'm going to try and get a shot of it for you. It won't be anything special ... probably a cell phone shot or two ... it's only our 3rd date date so I can't bust out the dslr and start snapping ass shots Hopefully she'll wear jeans....

As for the rest of your post, I mostly agree but I'm less concerned with the quality of photography than the quality of the girls. I'd take a cell phone shot of a 9-10 girl over a crisp dslr shot of a 6 or lower girl every day of the week!

TOTALLY agree on all counts.

And I'd also like to say that I LOVE this board. As W4U said, it is totally unique and one of the only sites I visit on a daily basis. I'm just frustrated that it used to FILLED with extremely HOT chicks and now the actual HOT chicks seem to be few and far between.

but its also personal opinion, I dont download pics of candids at all. I dont eve keep my own, just leave them on here but rarely look back until i do review series for the free side in the winter with nothign to post.

well some people think women at motor shows are really hot, I personally dont. some find street/nextdoor girl types hot, which I find hottest. Some find sports women hot, I cant think of anything worse. now do you see where im coming from?

as long as you post what you like shooting then you cant go wrong.

As I think you are right, Mark, I will let some members know, that I'am not overwhelmed by their posts. Like the sample I showed above.
I think we should not encourage members, so they will post more threads we don't like to see.
Speaking about myself: I'm open to critical review, so I know what to change to become a better candid photographer. But nothing can beat some nice words from a veteran, which is happy with your post

Dude, your english is really good. As an American, I, of course, only speak American so I admire your multi-linguistic skills. I corrected a few mistakes of yours above to help you. Your posts are understandable and the little tweaks I made just help them flow more smoothly....

BTW, I don't share your concerns about low quality spy cams. The proliferation of low quality spy cams is taking place at the same time as severely falling prices on normal small video cameras and DSLRs. I'll take a 10 second video of a seriously hot chick over a 2 minute video of a dumpy ass MILF every day of the week! As for the post you cited above, the chicks are not hot enough to post. I wouldn't even take a second glance at those two girls in real life....
