Turn off cell phone camera shutter shound

Hi folks!

All the new cell phones have these shutter sounds, to prevent people from taking unnoticed pictures. Okay, a horror for all of us

I'am talking about the Nokia series cell phones. Is there really no way to turn the camera sound off? No "patch" or software which can be installed?
I mean there are always people who try to "enhance" stuff. A lot of people copy DVD even with a copy-protection, because there are ways to turn that off. Is there no way for a cell phone problem? I googled already but didn't find a real solution.

I researched this topic when I bought my Sony.
There are solutions, but they involve modification of the software brains and one wrong move and you've got yourself an expensive camera that you can't call anyone with.
Have you considered the caveman solution...tape over the speaker?

1. Turn on "Caps Off"
2. Open X-plore
3. Goto "Z:\Private\10202be9\101F8809.txt"
4. Copy the file to "C:\Private\10202be9\101F8809.txt"
5. Edit the file "101F8809.txt"
6. At the end of the file, you will find the line 0x7 int 1 0 cap_rd=alwayspass cap_wr=alwaysfail
7. Then change it to 0x7 int 0 0 cap_rd=alwayspass cap_wr=alwaysfail
8. Save the file and exit X-plore
9. Turn on "Caps On"

You must have Rom Patcher installed on phone install NoCameraSound.rmp
Go into MAIN CAMERA
Options,
Settings,
Change to Camera 4 tone,
Reboot Phone

3.Then select Off

Sounds like there is a way... But I need advise! All I know about cell phones is that I can use them as a phone... LOL
I would need a guide for a stupid one...
