Desert Moon

I took this with my new phone cam. It's a 2MPixel eNV2 by LG.

This makes me think of a contest we had where you had to write a poem to go with the picture. The view inspired me so much with the mood I am in, I just finished (I think) writing one. I was thinking of posting it with the pic, but right now it seems too personal.

Makes me think of that great classic pic by Ansel Adams: "Moonrise Over Hernandez". Artistic pics deserve cool names.

Thanks everyone. The pic was pretty good for a camera phone I thought. I tried again tonight. I went out and brought My Olympus FS-310 (8 MP) to the same spot. I was about ten minues too late. By the time I got to the spot, all the color in the sky turned grey. Maybe tomorrow.

I think it looks awesome bigdig. When I get the right lens, I'm planning on doing a lot of moon photography.
