This is what makes TCB so great ..... this pic maybe old and grainy... but all these pics are amazing just to show that Candids have been around since the invention of the camera !

Maybe we should have a content for the oldest looking candid !

I have a book on amateur photography from 1985. It includes a section on taking candid photographs, complete with advice on the use of a right-angle lens!

Digital encourages snapping a bunch of crap and keeping the best, whereas a film SLR still needs to be focused an processed...before getting rid of the crap.
