I'm slightly confused here. Do I submit the thread titles of videos already posted (some of which have since been deleted)? What about new clips I want to send - do I post them as normal for you guys to review? And what happens after review? I'm not sure I like the idea of my clips being uploaded to your server and me not even being able to have access to them.

hello satan! let me first say how much i love this site. im sure i dont qualify yet for elite status but i will start posting more quality comments. also i am working on a shoecam that i hope will be ready by next month after i get my tax refund. i fully intend to become an active member of this community. thank you again for such a great site!

1. What will happen to videos that we upload to outside servers, like rapidshare and other hosts? Will you put the better videos in the "Elite Members" area, or will they continue to be freely accessible by all? Or will they be in what you are calling the "Bonus Videos" section?

Once the owner submits their videos all Elite Member Videos will be hosted on our servers.

We will NOT be using unreliable 3rd partying hosting in the Elite Members area. No waiting and super fast servers ! Only Elite Members will be able to view them !

The bonus video section is a collection of leased, bought or from our own exclusive collection created over the past 6 years. Nothing was borrowed or stolen. Every video was used with the permission of the owner !

2. Ten videos per month might be a tall order for most of us, but I'm willing to give it a shot. Should we continue to upload them to Rapidshare and the like?

For now you still need to use a 3rd party Free host to submit to the Free area. Once your videos are accepted into the Elite Members Area they will be put on our servers.

3. What pics and vids will be available to "Free" members is not clear to me. You say that they will still have access to the "Forum", but I'm not sure what that implies above and beyond posting text messages. For example, will there continue to be all of the currently existing forums: Candid Videos, Downblouse, Event Candids, etc? I guess a better way for me to phrase the question is: What do "Free" members have access to now that they will NOT have access to under the new system?

As more and more people request for Elite Membership status ... the less and less will be available to the FREE Bandwidth sucking LURKERS.

This system was put together to get more people involved and reward those who are actively involved.

...does having posted 20 pic threads or 100+ thoughtful comments in the past good enough to qualify, or do I have to do it all over again?
And once in, we have to post either 20 pic threads, 10 vids, or 100 comments...? Well gee guys, haven't you noticed that even your best photographers only post 4 or 5 times a month as it is, even though they are usually good quality pics, in good numbers?
In other words, won't it be a little too much to expect from us posters?
Still, it's a good step, and I would like to get in...

Yes you can use old Picture Threads to apply.

Can i become an elite member? I have posted over 30 picture threads, and 4 or 5 vid threads with many more to contribute. I also have over 100 quality comments.

Send me an Email with the PICTURE Thread Titles and Video Thread titles you want submitted.

If they have been deletedthen their is nothing to submit !

For now you have to post videos as normal. The will be reviewed, after they are accepted they will be uploaded to our servers

1. I am going to work on all the Picture submissions. If you want to submit your picture threads send me an Email with 20 of the Picture Thread Titles you want submitted. All pictures must be using TheCandidBoard Free host.

2. I am going to review all the video threads submitted. If you want to submit your video threads send me an Email with 10 of the Video Thread Titles you want submitted. All video's will be reviewed and uploaded to TheCandidBoard servers. We will NOT be using Free unreliable hosts inside the Elite Members area ( another benefit for Elite members )
