Will an eloquent EMAIL msg. be sent to the profile EMAIL address with a password etc.?

Will a bedroom door be swung open in Gestapo fashion without even a courtesy knock, and a "request denied" note be stapled to the forehead of occupant?

Sounds like you are definitely moving the board in the right direction. So far, I think I like what you've described. But can you clarify a couple of things:

1. What will happen to videos that we upload to outside servers, like rapidshare and other hosts? Will you put the better videos in the "Elite Members" area, or will they continue to be freely accessible by all? Or will they be in what you are calling the "Bonus Videos" section?

2. Ten videos per month might be a tall order for most of us, but I'm willing to give it a shot. Should we continue to upload them to Rapidshare and the like?

3. What pics and vids will be available to "Free" members is not clear to me. You say that they will still have access to the "Forum", but I'm not sure what that implies above and beyond posting text messages. For example, will there continue to be all of the currently existing forums: Candid Videos, Downblouse, Event Candids, etc? I guess a better way for me to phrase the question is: What do "Free" members have access to now that they will NOT have access to under the new system?

I'm so glad to see this site evolving. I was getting bummed out by the overwhelming number of lurkers who neither upload vids or pics, nor post feedback. I doesn't surprise me that you guys are coming up with some great ideas. This site was obviously put together with a lot of foresight, so this will be a natural evolution.

Hry guys, I'd like an elite membership. There's no way I can afford to subscride, the price is actually higher than what I pay for dial up.
But it's still not quite clear to me...does having posted 20 pic threads or 100+ thoughtful comments in the past good enough to qualify, or do I have to do it all over again?
And once in, we have to post either 20 pic threads, 10 vids, or 100 comments...? Well gee guys, haven't you noticed that even your best photographers only post 4 or 5 times a month as it is, even though they are usually good quality pics, in good numbers?
In other words, won't it be a little too much to expect from us posters?
Still, it's a good step, and I would like to get in...

Can i become an elite member? I have posted over 30 picture threads, and 4 or 5 vid threads with many more to contribute. I also have over 100 quality comments.

I agree... From what I have seen so far you have been a good supporter.

1. I am going to work on all the Picture submissions. If you want to submit your picture threads send me an Email with 20 of the Thread Titles you want submitted. All pictures must be using TheCandidBoard Free host.

2. I am going to review all the video threads submitted. If you want to submit your video threads send me an Email with 10 of the Thread Titles you want submitted. All video's will be reviewed and uploaded to TheCandidBoard servers. We will NOT be using Free unreliable hosts inside the Elite Members area ( another benefit for Elite members )

3. The elite members will then submit who they think are supporting the threads with comments.

I'd like to request membership please (pretty please).

My request is on the basis that I have been here maybe a fortninght and have already contributed 4/5 clips (with many more to come). I have also commented on posts, and will continue to do so according to the rules, i.e. 100+ insightful comments.

I'm gonna have to spend much time at my computer, but it will be worth it!

is there a minimum ammount of pictures required for each post

It really depends on the picture. There are so many one shot pictures that are worthy. Sometimes that is all you could get.

We are looking for over all quality of the subject, camera skill and text story to go along with it.

A set is more preferable. It will not be right to break up a set just to increase thread count.

Please submit the Username and Password you want to use ( Can be the same as the one you are using now ) when submit your threads for approval.


As soon as your are given Elite Status all the premium functions will work.
