Video Preview Index Program

I am looking for a specific program. I want to open a video file and it shall make screencaps at given points or all 30 seconds or something like that and output them as thumbnails on a big picture. So that i can post one pic to preview the whole vid with all of its scenes. i often see those pics in the newsgroups but did not find a program, yet. or do those guys make that images by hand?

I suggest you use Adobe Premier any version will do, but for starters I suggest the 6.0 version this are just a few stuffs you can do to your video's

-frame by frame shots (by the way you can always export each frame to Photoshop to enhance or resizing it and import it back to Premier)
-Enhance colors/brightness
-Deinterlace
-Cut out scenes
-Compress using wmv/xvid/divx
-Output as burnable DVD
You can also do this….
-make close up
- rotate other than the fixed 90, 180 and 270 degrees
- slow motion
- add logo
- mute it and add song
These things are just a few clicks from the mouse.

By the way in adding your logo you should also try using Adobe Photoshop, it’s not that hard to transfer your logo to Adobe Premier. Adobe premier and Photoshop is powerful editing software’s.

Here are some Photoshop tricks you can do.

-adjusting color balance
-resizing and image to thumbnail size
-watermarking
and a whole lot more.
