Photos were taken with a camcorder running inside a soft carrying bag. The bag is manuevered horizontally and vertically to get whatever angle is possible.

You must remain somewhat stationary and make slow movements with the camcorder so that the video does not come out looking like some wild chase and making you dizzy watching it.

The advantage over a still camera is that you can grab individual frames from the video which represent 1/30 second in time. You will almost always get at least one or two good frames although the quality of the vidcap is no where near the quality of a good digital cam. You can see people blink from one frame to the next.
